Among the most sought-after and exciting conductors of his generation, Matthias Manasi has had an extraordinary career conducting masterworks in prestigious opera houses and orchestras in the world. After successful tenures as Music Director of the International Punta Classic Festival in Montevideo and since 2010 until 2013 of the Orchestra Camerata Italiana, he is currently under contract at Opera Wrocławska in Wrocław, Poland.
He worked recently as Assistant Conductor for The Flying Dutchman at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw. One of the highlights of the Season 2013 included his debut with the Wiener Mozart Orchester in June 2013 in the Musikverein, Vienna. Season highlights in 2015 include engagements with the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra in Almaty, with the Seoul Classical Players and to appear as a pianist in Beethoven's 5th piano in South Korea. He will also conduct in 2015 the Orchestra of the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
Matthias Manasi has conducted over 30 orchestras, including Rome’s Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Bari, Wiener Mozart Orchester, Staatsorchester Braunschweig, Cukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, the Nürnberger Symphoniker, Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, Philharmonic Orchestra Brasov, Orchestra Camerata Italiana, the Bach Collegium Stuttgart, the Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, Punta Classic Festival Orchestra, Sofia Festival Orchestra, Polnische Kammerphilharmonie, Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue, Orchestra Opera Passau, Philharmonic Orchestra Györ, Orchestra Opera Constanta, Philharmonic Orchestra Baden-Baden and Sudwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim.

Matthias Manasi has also gained international acclaim as a pianist performing as a solo pianist in numerous recitals in Europe, USA and South America playing sonatas by Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven, Etudes by Chopin and Liszt, Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and pieces by Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Brahms, Gershwin, Bartok, Prokofiev, Schnittke, to name just a few.
