Born in Moscow in 1992, Slavis Besedin got his vocal education at the Moscow University for music and theater „GITIS“ with Prof. N.A. Wasiliev and A.A. Barnak and graduated in 2013. The very same year he started to perfectionate his vocal skills at the University Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Horiana Branisteanu and Prof. Bernd Valentin. He performed several parts in operas by P.I.Tschaikowsky, L.Botscharova, N. Sydelnikov, L. van Beethoven. Performances at the Mozarteum included Ottone in „L‘incoronazione di Poppea“ by Claudio Monteverdi, Zuniga in „Carmen“ by Georges Bizet, Collatinus in „Rape of Lucretia“ by Benjamin Britten and Bartolo in „Le nozze di Figaro“ by Mozart. In 2016 at the international competition „Academia -Belcanto-Graz“ he was awarded for his especially beautiful colour of voice and his excellent stage presence. His actual repertory includes among others Gremin(Eugene Onegin), Basilio(Barbiere), Pizarro(Fidelio), Ramphis (Aida) Baculus (Wildschütz) und a wide range of russian repertory.
