The austrian conductor had his musical education and diploma at the Anton Bruckner private university Linz and with the composer Balduin Sulzer. He was prize winner of the Helmut Schiff foundation and got a scholarship at the international Richard Wagner Verband Bayreuth. Lessky perfectionated his studies by partaking in international masterclasses with Peter Gülke, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and other renowned conductors.
The international collaboration with orchestras like Brucknerorchester Linz, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, Cappella Istropolitana, Filarmonica de Stat „Moldova“ Iasi, Böhmische Kammerphilharmonie Pardubice, Südböhmische Kammerphilharmonie Budweis, Sinfonietta Baden, Bucheon Symphony Orchestra led him to guest apperarences in varied countries of Europe and Asia. His concerts at the Brucknerhaus Linz, Tonhalle Zürich and Seoul Arts Center were highly estimated. From 1994 to 2004 Lessky was artistic director of the „Junge Oper Oberösterreich“ and collaborated with soloists like Marco Cappelli, Otto Sauter, Elmar Gasanov, Sung- Won Yang among others. His repertory reaches from baroque opera until contemporary music.
