Franz Xaver Schlecht
As a member of the Bayerische Singakademie Franz Xaver Schlecht started his musical education at the Musikhochschule Augsburg and continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig as well as at the Musikhochschule Würzburg. Since 2010 Maria Janina Hake , München, is coaching him.
He was starring at the theatres of Augsburg, Ingolstadt and Würzburg. In 2011 he made his debut at the Berlin State Opera as Verschinin in „Tri Sestri“ by Peter Eötvös At the Heidelberg theatre he took over the part of of Walter Spieß in the first performance of „Der tausendjährige Posten“ , a new arrangement of a Schubert-opera. Besides his preferred opera parts like Count in Mozarts „Le nozze di Figaro“ , Alfonso in „Cosi fan tutte“, Rossinis Dandini in „La Cenerentola“ or Monteverdis „Orfeo“ , the baritone sets a high value on his vast concert repertory. In 2014 he performed at the Schlossfestspiele Sondershausen and again in 2014 he appeared as Don Alfonso in „Cosi fan tutte“ , as well as in concerts with Rossinis „Petite messe solenelle“ , Deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms and Carl Orffs „Carmina Burana“.
His languages are german, english, italian and he is singing in german, english , italian, french and russian.
